Wow....was that great or what? What a huge crowd for a little town like Moscow. I heard estimates of between 300-400 people who showed up.
The crowd was energized, and the cars passing were honking!
There was quite of bit of media there as well. I did three interviews, both before and after the event, and I know others were doing interviews as well. Don't ask me exactly with who, as I really don't remember. I was so nervous, and my head was spinning with all the excitement.
We passed out cards to just about everyone, so hopefully many will find there way here. OUR WORK IS NOT DONE!
Thanks to everyone who showed up.
Eric
Eric, It was good to meet you and many others who worked so hard on this event. Barb and I wish to thank you all for a great job.
On a other issue; I am going to seek out and buy a music CD of revolutionary colonial music, (fife & drum type), and also buy a some type of boom box/amplifier to play at future events. I think it could add an inspireing revolutionay atmosphere, but I am open to any sugestions, advice, and help in this endever.
This is only the beginning !

Thanks Pete...Good to meet you and Barb as well, and you are correct, This is only the beginning!
Thanks again to all who showed up, and pitched in to help in getting things organized.
ETHAN: Thanks for posting photos of the rally. Anyone else have pics of the Moscow rally that they can post???
On another matter, I just got off the phone with Brandon Maxx of the Lewiston tribune who was putting the finishing touches on an article about the rally which will run tomorrow. Everybody should get the LT tommorrow.
While I was talking to Brandon, he mentioned there was 600+ people at the Clarkston rally that was going on this evening. OUTSTANDING!

There are so many others to thank--Ed and Robyn, Paula and a host of others. The media coverage was good, the speeches and organization were awesome. Next? I am ready and we garnered a LOT of support for our peaceful but informative rally.

Well...after a short nap, that is!
It was a really exciting day - was so happy to meet so many like-minded folks and familiar names from the forum here.
I anticipate we will see the forum membership rise in the next few days. We've picked up 10 or more new members since this morning.
Eric, great job on your address to the crowd, Ed too.
Mark - you were a trooper in spreading the word and coordinating things. And Robyn is a ball o' fire! It was a real pleasure working together with everyone, and I am really encouraged by the team effort. We had some great help with sign making on Monday night also.
I just would like to re-iterate that while this rally was vital, it is not the ultimate goal. Gathering together was a great encouragement, but now that we are alert to the need to get involved, we need to harness the momentum to create real change in our communities and our country.
I was a little disappointed that the 5 pm news on KMAX 840 listed rally numbers at ~ 70 in Pullman and ~100 in Moscow. I tried to call to register my disagreement with the report, but it was after 5 and their offices were closed. I will call tomorrow to request a more accurate report. I don't want to exaggerate our numbers, but I certainly don't like to see the Moscow rally credited with only 1/3 the patriots that showed up. I can't speak for the Pullman rally count, but it appear it was also lowballed by about half.
I read good reports on the coverage out of Lewiston on KLEW. We don't get that station, but I hope someone will tape it and share the segment via youtube.
Well done, everyone! Thanks for coming out to share the excitement of this historical day! Hopefully future historians will look back and mark it as a turning point in our nation's history. Not because of what it accomplished today, but because of what it embolded us to do as citizens with voices and votes.
blessings,
Paula B.

That's Cool!
Question for Back2Basics or anyone else who gets Lewiston TV:
I was just wondering which line of the speech they ran on TV?
