This thread is reserved for OFFICIAL information regarding the April 15 Tea Party rallies in Moscow, ID and Pullman, WA.
We will have two simultaneous rallies, both will begin at 12:00 noon. Pullman will converge at Bridgeway Plaza (next to Taco Del Mar and Identity Salon Day Spa) and Moscow will converge at Friendship Square.
We ask any and everyone interested in reforming government and promoting fiscal responsibility to attend. This is the reason for our protest. We would specifically ask that if you are an individual promoting a different agenda that you not attend.
We respectfully request that you do not bring signs including profane language or denigrating the office of President of the United States. This is NOT an anti-Obama rally. While we respect the rights of every American to FREE EXPRESSION and DISSENT, we do not wish our group to be unfairly portrayed as being disrespectful of the President or his office. While we certainly hold strong disagreements with President Obama and his stated proposals and policies, this is not the reason for our protest.
We respectfully request that you utilize the parking areas that we designate to be optimal. In both Moscow and Pullman we will be rallying in a business corridor and it is not our wish or intent to impact the businesses in these areas. While minimal disruption is possible, please make every effort not to take parking that is normally used by customers, or block entrances to these businesses. If possible, we STRONGLY encourage carpooling to these events to minimize our impact on already crowded parking.
We respectfully request that in all instances, you do not block traffic or impede commerce during our demonstration, and that you obey law enforcement. It is our goal to be respectful at all times while promoting our message of constitutional, fiscally responsible government.
