This book takes place in the Palouse....awesome read!!

I thought the first chapter of Patriots was amazing. and quite spooky.

After that it was kinda downhill.

But it does take place here on the Palouse!

Rawles is a bit of a survivalist guru. His site is http://www.survivalblog.com/ If preparations is your scene, there's *some* good information there, just take it all with a grain (or 50 lb bag, as the case may be) of salt. :)
