What happened to the sub-Forum section where we could report attacks on the 2nd Amendment? Maybe my eyes are tired and I just can't find it....

No, your eyes aren't tired. It was located in the current events area along with a few other subcategories. I was having some professional colleagues critique the site and they felt that those and a few other subcategories were making the site unnecessarily complex to navigate. So I relocated those threads right into the main category, just post there in the catch-all category.
